Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026.

This page explains what data Gnurt collects when you visit gnurt.website, what it is used for, and what rights you have. Gnurt is the website presenting the web development services of Trung, a freelance full-stack developer. By using this website, you agree to the policy below.

1. Data we collect

Contact form. When you send the contact form on the homepage, we collect your name, email address, the type of request and budget if you fill them in, and the contents of your message. The system also records your IP address, browser information (user agent) and the time of submission, to prevent spam and to handle your request. The message is stored in the Form Entries section of the website and is also sent by email notification to the website administrator.

Website usage data. The website uses Google Tag Manager (ID GTM-W6N44G9S), which includes Google Analytics 4. This tool collects data in aggregate form, without your name or email, for example: the pages you viewed, the time of your visit, the type of device and browser, and the general location inferred from your IP address. This data helps us understand which content is read most so we can improve the website.

Server logs. Like every other website, the server records your IP address, browser information, the requested page and the time of access, only to operate and secure the website.

Interface preference. Your light/dark interface choice is stored only in your own browser, is not sent to the server, and is not used to identify you.

Accounts. The website does not open account registration for visitors. Only the website administrator and content writers have login accounts.

We do not collect payment information, we have no newsletter sign-up form, and comments on posts are not currently open. If comments or social login are opened in the future, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live.

2. How we use the data

Data from the contact form is used only to reply to your request and to discuss your project. Website usage data is used only in aggregate form to improve content and performance. Server logs are used only to operate the website, detect errors and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies

The website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager cookies to measure visits, for example the _ga and _gid cookies. WordPress login cookies apply only to people with administrator or content-writer accounts, not to ordinary visitors. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some measurement features will stop working, but the website will still display normally. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on provided by Google at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

4. Sharing data with third parties

Data is shared only to the extent necessary with: Google (through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4) to measure visits; the email delivery service (SMTP) the website uses to send the email notification about a new contact message; and the hosting provider on which the website runs. Apart from these parties, data is not shared with any other third party, except where required by law.

5. How long data is kept

Messages from the contact form are kept in the Form Entries section until the administrator deletes them. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period configured in the Google Analytics account. Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s policy.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data you submitted through the contact form, and the right to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, send your request through the contact form on the homepage, stating clearly what you want to view, correct or delete, and including the email address you used when you sent the form so we can verify it. We will reply within a reasonable time.

7. Security

The website uses an HTTPS connection, and the contact form includes spam checks (a honeypot field and a time check) and validates data before it is stored. Even so, no method of transmission over the Internet is absolutely secure, and you should not send sensitive information such as passwords or card details through the contact form.

8. Children

The website is aimed at individuals and businesses that need a website, is not aimed at children, and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and discover that your child has submitted information through the contact form, please contact us through the contact form to request its deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page will be changed accordingly. Your continued use of the website after a change is taken as agreement to the new version.

10. Contact

For any questions or requests related to this policy, please send them through the contact form on the homepage at https://gnurt.website/en/#contact.
